ABOUT US
Our mission is to “Restore the call of God in People’s Lives.”
That's how we're able to make a difference. It's what drives everything we do.
Our Story
Restore City Church is an Assemblies of God church and was planted in 1960 in West Lake by Cesar Martinez. The church was named ‘El Sendero de la Cruz’ with a vision to be multi-cultural and bilingual in order to reach the community.
In 1968, we purchased the land where our campus is currently located and over the years became known as the Spanish Assembly of God. With a new vision to reach all ethnicities, the name of the church was adjusted in 2012 to Sendero Life Center. In 2020 to better reflect the current mission of the church, the church decided to change the name of the church to Restore City Church.
Today, Restore City Church reaches various ethnicities in English and in Spanish and our goal is to make everyone feel like they are part of the family regardless of their history or ethnicity; we are all one in Christ. We currently serve over 1000 family members and we are led by Pastors Mike and Mary Alvarado, along with their pastoral team and hundreds of volunteers and servant-leaders.
