Tithing
Tithing is an act of trust, giving God the first 10% of your income.
It’s a biblical principle that God calls us to follow. At Restore City Church, we’ve witnessed God’s abundant provision, and we believe He will provide for you and your family when you prioritize Him in your finances. In fact, it’s the one area in the Bible where God invites you to test Him.
“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” Malachi 3:10 NIV
You can never out-give God, but you’ll never regret trying.
God blesses us with gifts we don’t deserve, like grace and forgiveness, and the ultimate gift of His son for our sins. When we talk about irrational generosity, that’s what we mean. God has created you with a generous heart, and we want to encourage you to embrace it by giving beyond your tithe to support one of these causes.
